Product Overview

It is mainly used for impulse discharge during fault testing of cables with voltage levels of 15kV and below; it can also be used for DC withstand voltage testing of other electrical equipment.

Key Features

It features automatic overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheat protection;
DC withstand voltage and impulse discharge capabilities;
uniform and controllable high-voltage pulse output; and superior short-circuit protection, allowing the high-voltage output to operate directly short-circuited to ground.

Instrument Components:

1. Main Unit: Applies high-voltage, high-energy pulse signals to the cable under test;

2. High-Voltage Output Line: Connects the high-voltage output terminal of the main unit to the core of the cable under test;

3. Ground Wire: Safety ground and grounding wire for the discharge rod;

4. Power Cord: The instrument's operating power cord;
5. Fuse: A spare fuse for the AC220V power supply system;

6. Discharge Rod: Performs DC current-limited discharge or DC short-circuit discharge on the cable under test.
